Crystal Springs, Groton, MA Trail Network
Crystal Springs on the Groton Trails Network is a hidden gem!
Located off of Old Dunstable Road in Groton, Crystal Springs twists and turns its way through the woods. You pass granite walls, get breathtaking views of the beaver pond, from both ground level and up high, and cross over small wooden bridges.
Although it is easy to get off the path, all trails eventually lead back to Old Dunstable Road, so even if you don't end up in your parking spot, you can easily find your car.
Wear plenty of bugspray and solid shoes. Plan to spend about an hour hiking. Elementary school-aged kids will love this trail.
Parking is located in a small lot off of Old Dunstable Road just north of Crystal Springs Drive.
