Welcome to the Wild West!

There is nothing like a tourist town. Keystone, SD delivers. With souvenir shops and bars aplenty, this is a popular stop for tourists who visit Mt. Rushmore.

Keystone has done a great job creating a "Wild West" feel.  The store fronts are designed to be a flashback to the old days of Pioneers settling out west.

 

If the criteria for tourist towns include a taffy window, an old-tyme photo studio, a Minnetonka Moccasin shop, an outdoor motorcycle bar, and more t-shirt shops than you can fathom, then this town fits the bill!

Keystone does get a thumb- up for its well-maintained hotels and the Alpine Slide and plenty of parking.
